Naomi moved to Steamboat Springs to join Perry-Mansfield Performing Arts School & Camp as Program Director, a role she held for nearly a decade. In addition to contributing to the camp's overall operations, Naomi taught singing and acting to campers of all ages, and proudly directed and music-directed the July 4th Parade performance in downtown Steamboat Springs. She worked to enhance curriculum offerings, ensuring a high standard of teaching and leadership, which fostered an inspiring and enriching environment for campers. Naomi’s ability to engage students of all ages led her to develop special events that have since become beloved mainstays on the camp schedule. Her experience running performing arts studios, combined with her creativity, led her to spearhead the camp’s marketing initiatives, including website design and social media management, building a vibrant connection with alumni while promoting the camp’s legacy.
In her hometown of Toronto, Canada, Naomi founded and served as Artistic Director of The Stage Door Academy, where she grew registrations from 8 to over 85 in the inaugural year. She collaborated with the Toronto District School Board to design workshops that elevated artistic standards for students, and developed strategic partnerships with Canadian theatre companies, providing students with professional mentorship and performance opportunities. Naomi also worked as Program Coordinator and Curriculum Consultant at The City Playhouse Theatre, where her programming for over 250 students was recognized as "the fastest-growing in the history of the region."
Naomi’s real-world experience as a professional actor (and member of both CAEA and ACTRA) has made her a sought-after singing and audition coach. Her students have gone on to receive admission to elite performing arts middle and high schools, prestigious BFA programs, and have performed on Broadway National Tours. She has also served as an adjudicator for Colorado State Thespians, offering constructive feedback and encouragement to both high school performers and educators.
In addition to teaching acting, singing, and musical theatre, Naomi has a proven track record in managing digital content across a variety of brands, driving audience engagement and business growth. Naomi has also successfully organized artistic events and fundraisers, working with city officials, celebrities, and businesses to secure sponsorship and support for arts initiatives.
Most importantly however, Naomi is committed to providing a supportive, creative environment where students of all ages — from preschool through adult — can develop their talents, build confidence, and connect meaningfully with the arts. She is proud to have inspired hundreds of campers and students to express their individuality while finding their creative community.
